Acculis Exhibits at ASGBI
The 2009 International Surgical Congress of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland is a three day meeting taking place at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) in Glasgow from Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th May 2009.
The theme of the meeting is ‘Delivering a Modern Surgical Service’ and the main symposia, lectures and workshops will continue the theme of generic surgical issues with symposia addressing safer surgery, revalidation, surgical education and training, delivery of service and the impact of EWTD.
In addition there will be the usual major scientific and ‘hot topic’ sessions, eponymous lectures and short paper and poster presentations. In addition to the home college lectures there will be overseas’ input from the Australian and American Colleges and many European issues will be addressed through our strong links with European societies and UEMS.
The opening address will be given by Mr Andrew Lansley, Shadow Secretary of State for Health.
